We trekked half way around the world to a small island country that lost 40,000 people in the tsunami and found most of them in hut like dwellings and refugee tents. In Komari a little village that lost almost all of the fishermans houses we met a Sri Lankan who shared our dreams of repairing their lives, We started out by designing a new structure to meet the needs of this destroyed village. In our two weeks working we were able get the foundation built for the new two story community center which will be used to teach trade skills and house over forty seven children orphaned by the tsunami. We recently just got word that the building has been completed and has been put to use. Most of the community turned out for the dedication ceremony on the one year anniversary of the Tsunami.
